Teddy Boussengui (1997) is a Gabonese-French choreographer, dancer, comedian, and musician.

He began his artistic journey in HIP-HOP under the tutelage of Amin Benassa, a pioneering French dancer with international acclaim. Subsequently, he pursued training across a spectrum of disciplines, including contemporary dance, ballet, capoeira, butoh, theater, clowning, krump, and more.

His performance works have garnered international recognition and support from institutions such as the Gabonese French Institute, National University of Mexico, Nomad Scenes, and their associated festivals, among others.

Boussengui's recent performative works, AURORA (2024), STYX (2023), MISOKU (2022), 8 Litros de Agua (2021), and Delirio en el Restaurante el Romance (2020), are socially engaged scenic rituals that delve into themes of diversity, inclusion, and the urgent challenges posed by climate change.

On a larger scale Boussengui’s time is divided between his own artistic endeavors as a dancer, musician, and actor, and his role as a teacher and facilitator in the Genuine Movement and Expressive Body workshops. In both capacities, he explores unconventional approaches to artistic expression and delves into the healing potential of creative practice.
